Clarice was born in Missoula, Montana and has spent most of her life in and among the mountains surrounding Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley. After graduating with an MFA from Berkeley in 1981 she began casting monumental sculptural objects which connected her diverse life experiences with powerful visual metaphors. Clarice also paints large canvases in oil and acrylic hues that create magic and mystery in minimal forms ranging from landscapes to bold non-objective abstraction.
Born in upstate New York, Steve Kelly came to Montana in 1974 after attending the Hotel and Restaurant Management school at Univ. of Denver. His painting and sculpture reflects the "goings-on" in and around Bozeman and his love of the fish and wildlife, and the mountains and rivers of the Wild Rockies.
Christopher Warner was raised near Great Falls, Montana with a great view of the Rocky Mountain Front. He received an MFA from Univ. of Colorado, and is currently Director at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Warner's large, rural landscapes are contemplative and abstract, and always mindful of life's many struggles on the high plains. His oil paintings achieve depth and atmospheric presence using layers of subtle hues. His depiction of vast open space and big skies are simply amazing.
Walter Us paints the most wonderful landscapes of the natural features around Bozeman and Southwest Montana. He visits periodically to paint large canvases in oils, and experience the outdoors and nature while away from his primary residence on Long Island, NY.
